Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer Rules

Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in county jail. Her defense attorney said, "I think she's singled out because of who she is." I think he has that backwards. She was given an appropriate sentence regardless of who she is.

Paris Hilton has been given many chances to prove herself as a responsible adult, when driving a motor vehicle. Her mother should be ashamed of herself in regard to this day in court. Maybe the Hilton family should come out of denial and face life as "regular" citizens.

Finally, a judge who doesn't get stars in his eyes when handing down a sentence to a celebrity. Kathy Hilton did not do her job as a mother years ago when her underaged daughter was partying hard until all hours of the morning. And now, she wants to spout off "surprise" at her daughter being sentenced for her REPEATED violations of the law. Wake up! You failed your daughter then, and you're failing her now by not making her accept responsibilities for her actions. It's time that Paris accepted a dose of "real" reality and accepted the "simple life" that the rest of us have to live and abide by.

I couldn't have said it better myself! This will be a travesty of justice if the sentence is changed or lessened! If anyone knows the Judges email address please send it to me! I had a FAVORITE uncle who was killed by a drunk driver ! She sent his steering wheel straight through his chest(DOA)! Little Miss Paris needs a good lesson! Even though it sounds like (if she even goes)she will be staying at a 5* jail! This is serious and this Judge needs to stand his ground!

SINCERELY,

I most admiration and respect to Judge Michael T. Sauer for his ruling. As a mother of a 17 year old I am glad to be able to tell my child the law is the law and we should always obey the law. (No mater who you are)

It's about time that a celebrity couldn’t by there way out of something. As a responsible adult she should be held accountable for what she did. It is the law, and it is something that everyone is made aware of prior to getting your license. Maybe next time she'll spend a little more time reading her own mail and asking her own question, instead of blaming someone for not giving her the correct information.

Question to all!
Why is it that there are clubs across the Unites States that serve celebrity minors, and you never hear about any of those clubs or minors arrested closed for under age drinking? All I ever see in the tabloids is who was at what club. I thought the law was 21 and over to consume alcohol. Did some one change the law, and not let me know?

I think Paris should be responsible. She says shes an adult maybe it's time to act like one. She did something wrong. Act like an adult and deal with the consequences. If it were anyone else we would have to do our time. I hope the judge stands his ground and she goes to jail.

I just want to express my respect and admiration to Judge Michael T. Sauer. It's time this talentless, pathetic young lady learn that she is not above the law simply because she comes from money.

THANK YOU FOR GIVING HER JAIL TIME. SHE IS A POOR EXAMPLE AND I FEEL THAT SHE DESERVES 6 MONTHS IN JAIL.
