My computer has died. I'm having to work on the laptop (which I don't like nearly as much as the desktop) while I wait for my new one to be delivered.
Without my computer I might run out of excuses not to do housework! I'm beginning to regret not paying extra for quicker delivery.

Posted by marybeth at May 25, 2006 01:47 AMIt takes a while, but after a while a laptop can be like a blankie. For instance, right now I'm stretched out in a recliner, with the Red Sox on, typing with one eye and watching the top of the 9th with the other.
I don't think I could ever go back to a desktop again for personal use. At my desk at work, yes - but now a desktop feels like a chore.
